Sometimes I want to remind people that I’m doing OK!” - Pastis’ attitude here is hilarious. ‘The door might be closed to new folk, but I’m doing fine, so what’s to worry about?’ It’s bizarre. He also doesn’t seem to accept that people can make money from webcomics, couching it in language like ‘Penny Arcade… claim to make a living’. Penny Arcade make a flipping killing. Just really, really weird.
